Founded on the core belief that essential clothing should be accessible to everyone, our doors are open to all.

We offer a curated selection of quality clothing, footwear, and accessories with a strict pricing cap: every single item is priced at $5 or less. Whether you are looking for everyday basics, workwear, or children’s clothing, our boutique provides a dignified, welcoming shopping experience designed to ease the financial burden of daily life. At Matthew's Closet, everyone is welcome, and everyone deserves to look and feel their best.

Founded in 2022 in a small home garage, Matthew’s Closet was created with a simple, powerful vision: to provide clothing at no cost to children with active Department of Child Safety (DCS) cases. As we welcomed families through our doors, we quickly realized that the need across our community was far greater than we ever anticipated.
In 2024, guided by our core belief that no family in need should ever be turned away, we made the pivotal decision to open our doors to anyone needing support. Transitioning beyond our initial foster care focus meant relinquishing our state foster care tax credit status, but it allowed us to fulfill a broader, critical mission. To keep our operations sustainable while maintaining our promise of accessibility, we introduced minimal, fixed-price caps—ensuring every item remains manageable for those on fixed incomes, while continuing to assist those facing hardship without hesitation.
Today, Matthew’s Closet is fully open to the general public as a community boutique offering quality clothing, footwear, and essentials—with no item priced above $5. Every purchase made at Matthew's Closet directly fuels and sustains several outreach initiatives and community support programs throughout the East Valley.
When you shop with us, donate, or spread the word, you aren't just finding affordable essentials—you are helping us ease the burden for local families and ensuring that dignity, care, and support remain accessible to all.
Help me provide a business description for the new boutique. Where clothes are offered at minimal cost, nothing more than $5 open to the public. Everyone's welcome. Here to Ease is the burden of essential needs
